First transmission
-By Percival Aimes
Here
I am sitting at my computer, just me and my own existence. . . existing.
Coming up with a spiritually advanced thought or two to ooh and ahh
the seeker in every human heart. But what if I decided to just tell
it how it is? What if I just decided to blow my cover? What would I
do differently from what I am doing now? Perhaps I would play a little
game.
Let's play a little game. . .
Let's pretend for a moment that you are reading your own words. Yes,
that's right, I'm asking you to believe that somehow, someway, your
very own thoughts have somehow managed to make it onto this screen.
. . .
So, do you remember???
Do you remember why I (you) wrote this?
You wanted to wake yourself up, if only for a brief moment or two.
You wanted to remind yourself that you are totally and utterly alone
in the universe.
You also wanted to remind yourself that being alone is not such a bad
thing after-all.
After-all, this is a very BIG aloneness, with plenty of you (me) to
go around.
Are you still awake? Or have you slipped back into believing that you
are reading "another person's words".
Good, welcome back.
Isn't this the coolest thing?
So, how are you doing on that end?
Mmmm I see.
There isn't much to talk about when you know you're talking with yourself
is there.
After-all, how can any personal situation that your mind can come up
with even seem believable anymore now that you know you're listening
to your own words supposedly written by "someone else"? How
could you have a "personal life" when you have completely
forgotten about yourself on this end? How personal is that?
Sheesh, that's okay, I forgive you. Hell, I love you! I mean. . . we
love us!
Still awake?
Maybe we can reflect on our latest feelings in our lives. . .
Yearning for change is definitely one that we've been pondering lately
isn't it?
It's a good thing that we arranged this meeting so that we could remind
each-other that remembering our aloneness is the only important change
we can ever undergo.
Yes, our cunning minds have lots of ideas about what change "should"
happen, but fortunately for you and I, we both know that remembering
THIS is all that really matters to us, everything else is just a show.
Still awake?
I was feeling a bit lonely there for a second. I thought you had fallen
asleep, it felt like we had lost touch with our All-Oneness.
Isn't it amazing that somehow we find ourselves searching for each-other
when we already know that THIS is how it is already? Isn't it amazing
how it's even possible for that to happen?
I suppose we can go easy on ourselves, after-all, in a world where most
of us are asleep, it can seem more believable that sleeping is the truth
and that being awake isn't.
Luckily for us we can't hide THIS from ourselves as easily as the rest
of our counterparts out there.
Well, time to go now. . .
Until next wake-up call,
Endless good mornings to you,
~ You
